Entrepreneurship education has traditionally centred on processes, tools, and venture frameworks. Increasingly, however, research attention is shifting toward the cognitive demands of entrepreneurial judgment under uncertainty.
As AI becomes embedded in educational systems, the question moves beyond implementation and adoption: how learning environments shape attention, sensemaking, adaptation, and decision-making. From this perspective, entrepreneurship education can be understood as a form of cognitive design, where pedagogy and systems influence how individuals engage with uncertainty.
In 2026, a special research session will provide a forum for scholarly dialogue on these emerging directions-bringing together work that examines cognition-aligned pedagogy and system-level perspectives on AI in entrepreneurship education.
