The ENT Teaching Committee continues to pioneer innovative and research-grounded approaches to entrepreneurship education through its ongoing Pedagogy Speaker Series.
Upcoming: Extreme Pedagogy with Professor Herman Aguinis
November 14, 2025, 10:00-11:20 AM EST
We are thrilled to welcome Professor Herman Aguinis, former President of the Academy of Management and one of the most highly cited scholars in management, for an engaging session titled “Extreme Pedagogy: Preparing Graduates for 21st-Century Challenges.”
Drawing on psychological ownership theory and inspired by military principles of extreme ownership, Prof. Aguinis will introduce a bold teaching approach that emphasizes “doing to become” rather than simply “doing.” Participants will explore how to embed real-world skills, share responsibility among universities, instructors, students, and employers, and position employers as co-creators of value.
