Applications are now open for the 2nd Annual Doctoral Consortium at the 2026 Diana International Research Conference (DIRC), to be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in South Africa.
This consortium is designed for doctoral students interested in women's entrepreneurship and related areas of entrepreneurship research. The day will provide an interactive opportunity for emerging scholars to engage with senior faculty and peers while building their research community and professional networks.
Topics will include:
- the history, scope, and future of women's entrepreneurship research
- theories, methods, datasets, and research approaches
- developing a teaching identity
- navigating the publication process as an early-career scholar
- the art of developmental reviewing
- roundtable mentoring on dissertation progress, co-authorship, career paths, and related topics
Accepted applicants will receive additional information about next steps for registering for DIRC 2026.
