2019 USASBE Doctoral Consortium for Teaching and Learning in Entrepreneurship
Academic careers involve both research and teaching. So many doctoral consortia emphasize traditional research, but the USASBE doctoral consortium immerses students in the world of teaching and learning entrepreneurship. We prepare students to boldly teach entrepreneurship and engage in entrepreneurship scholarship.
The 2019 USASBE Doctoral Consortium will take place at the annual USASBE conference in St. Petersburg, FL and a distinguished group of as many as 20 Ph.D. students will be selected for participation in the consortium. Attendees must be doctoral students who are emerging entrepreneurship scholars and who will be pursuing academic careers in entrepreneurship. Only one applicant per university will be accepted. The consortium will feature leading faculty in the discipline and will focus on enhancing understanding of entrepreneurship education research and pedagogical issues relevant to the student who is preparing for a career of thought leadership and disciplinary advancement in entrepreneurship education. USASBE will cover the conference registration fee and hotel expenses at the conference hotel for three nights for students receiving a full scholarship.
