Please join us for our PDW on conducting experiments to advance entrepreneurship research, co-sponsored by the RM, STR, and TIM divisions.
You can suggest additional questions to be discussed at the PDW.

Building an Interactive Community for Conducting Experiments to Advance Entrepreneurship Research
    Date: Saturday, August 11
    Time: 4:15 ??? 6:15 p.m.
Location: Hyatt Regency Chicago in Plaza B

Details: This two-hour workshop focuses on best practices for designing and conducting experiments that can advance entrepreneurship research. The PDW fosters the actual use of experimental methods by entrepreneurship, innovation and managerial sciences scholars, with a hands-on workshop where participants discuss how to address the challenges they face with experts who have published experiments in entrepreneurship. This PDW continues a sequence of two successful PDWs from 2016 (???Publishing entrepreneurship research using experimental methods???) and 2017 (???Are you experimented? Conducting experiments for advancing entrepreneurship research???).
The focus of the PDW this year will be on engagement with those interested in doing experiments in entrepreneurship so as to further develop a research community of individuals conducting experiments in entrepreneurship. The agenda with the fixed anchor topics and a list of flexible topics can be found below and online via tinyurl.com/AOM2018ExpEnt, where updates can be found. To increase relevance and further the interactive nature of the PDW, we welcome participants to select a topic or propose another topic of their interest by emailing: aom2018pdw@urbig.org. If you have a particular question or case at hand, feel free to send us a brief (no more than one page) description by July 31st so that we can provide a better prepared response for the round table discussion. Your feedback will help us evaluate the potential interest in topics and thus allocate researchers and experts to particular topics. Those who have emailed their specific questions/suggestions in advance will be ensured a seat in the PDW in case the room is full.
