The ODC - Organizational Design Community is pleased to announce the launch of the Future of Organizations Fellowships.
Organizations and their designs are in flux as technological and cultural changes seem to be accelerating. Technologies like Generative AI, AR/VR and blockchains offer new ways of organizing, and also disrupt existing arrangements. Cultural shifts across generations and societies also raise questions about appropriate models for organizing. The ODC Future of Organizations fellowships are intended to recognize and support researchers in any branch of scientific inquiry whose work can help us better understand and adapt to these changes.
The ideal recipient will have completed their PhD no more than 6 years ago as of June 1, 2024, and have a suitable record of high quality research publications. The recipients research should have the potential to inform both research and practice. ODC will award the recipient a grant of 7,500 Euros in total over two years to support research expenses, and offer a platform to publicize their work to the research and professional community interested in organization design.
We hope Fellows will consider taking an active part in the ODC's academic and professional events during the term of the Fellowship (2 years) and will also be invited to deliver two webinars around their own interests over the 2 years.
The Fellowships will be awarded by a committee drawn from ODC's Board, constituting Carliss Baldwin (Harvard Business School), Martin Gonzalez (Google), and chaired by Phanish Puranam (INSEAD). Selected Fellows will be notified by July 1, 2024 after the committee's deliberations.
We are accepting nominations (including self-nominations) comprising
i. A 1-page cover letter stating why the candidate is suitable for the Fellowship, and
ii) a CV that includes links to Google scholar/SSRN/arXiv etc page
by May 15, 2024 sent to info@orgdesigncomm.com, by email, stating clearly "Future of Organizations Fellowship Application" in the subject.
