Dear colleagues,
My coauthors and I are undertaking a meta-analysis focused on the factors leading to, and influencing, the intention-action gap within the field of entrepreneurship. Specifically, we are looking for (1) constructs directly related to entrepreneurial action and (2) moderators that affect the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and actions. In regard to action, our focus is on the actions that eventually lead to the creation of a new venture, which include but are not limited to: purchasing supplies, hiring employees, producing a prototype, marketing, seeking financial support, selling, filing of tax return, registering the business, writing a business plan, etc.
We are currently seeking:
- Unpublished work, such as raw data, working drafts, in-progress or newly finished dissertations/theses, or conference papers; or
- Published studies that might be difficult to locate with standard search methods.
If you possess unreleased research that contains data about the antecedents of entrepreneurial actions and moderators affecting the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and actions, we kindly ask for the following details:
- Pearson correlations,
- Corresponding sample sizes,
- Reliability metrics,
- Specific methods used to gauge action, and
- Country where the data was gathered.
Additionally, please indicate how you would like us to cite your work, whether in American Psychological Association or Academy of Management format.
