My coauthors and I are undertaking a meta-analysis focused on the factors leading to, and influencing, the intention-action gap within the field of entrepreneurship. Specifically, we are looking for (1) constructs directly related to entrepreneurial action and (2) moderators that affect the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and actions. In regard to action, our focus is on the actions that eventually lead to the creation of a new venture, which include but are not limited to: purchasing supplies, hiring employees, producing a prototype, marketing, seeking financial support, selling, filing of tax return, registering the business, writing a business plan, etc.
