Dear Professor, De Castro
Thank you very much for your inquiry. The AOM is currently working through implementing its policy on AI use across the organization. More details on this will follow over the coming months, and be related back to all AOM stakeholders.
What I can share for now is that the journal program is adopting the widely used C.O.P.E guidelines on AI use. I hope you will find this link regarding those guidelines to be helpful:

Subject: question regarding ie and journals
I teach a course on ethics of research at the doctoral level. I am looking for information on Journal policies with regards to use of artificial intelligence in research papers. I am interested in particular in the use of ai generated context to write parts (even Paragraphs) of papers. I checked management journals (asq, the academy journals, Org Science) and they address plagiarism in general but nothing about ai generated content. Did find a statement from the Journal of Petroleum engineering, and an article on Science addressing the question.

I am 100% sure that the students are going to raise this issue in class, and as of now, I have no answer to this.
Any help would be welcomed.
