    Professor Vanessa Burbano is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to collaborate on research at the intersection of climate adaptation/sustainability & business, for a period of two years. The position will support a mix of the candidate's own research alongside collaborative, coauthored work with Prof. Burbano. The postdoc will also work with Prof. Burbano in her role as Corporate Engagement Director for an NSF-funded Science and Technology Center focused on climate adaptation issues. There are no teaching obligations.

    Applicants should have a Ph.D. (or expect to complete theirs before July 1 2024) in strategy, management, organizational behavior, sociology, economics, psychology, or a relevant social science field from an accredited institution and have a record of being an outstanding scholar in every respect.

    The ideal candidate will have a research agenda focused on climate adaptation or corporate sustainability, broadly defined, and be interested in conducting new research at the intersection of climate change/climate adaptation & business, also broadly defined.

    Columbia Business School is a dynamic center of research, with faculty, postdoctoral and visiting scholars, and doctoral students taking a wide range of approaches to social science research with applied implications.
