    The Management Department of the University of Bologna seeks a full-time post-doctoral fellow (renewable) for an 18-month position to work on entrepreneurship and innovation in the creative industries. Tentative start date, October 15, 2023<u1:p></u1:p>

    The position offers ample opportunities to travel across partner institutions, including Bayes Business School (London), Istituto de Impresa (Madrid), Stern School of Business (New York), and George Washington University (Washington). The salary is 50,000 EUR gross (reasonable taxation). Extra funding for travel, visiting periods, and conferences is available. <u1:p></u1:p>

    A Ph.D. degree is not necessary at the time of application, but it should be obtained in the coming months. Familiarity with language models, NLP, and computational linguistics is a key requisite. The ability to read Italian is also required due to reliance on several textual archives in Italian. <u1:p></u1:p>

    Minor teaching assistantship tasks may be requested.<u1:p></u1:p>

    Professor Simone Ferriani will be directly supervising the post-doc position but there will be plenty of opportunities to work with other faculty members of the Management Department in Bologna as well as colleagues from partner institutions in London (Bayes), New York (Stern), Madrid (IE) and Washington (GWSB). <u1:p></u1:p>

    Expectations, summing up:<u1:p></u1:p>

           A Ph.D. completed or near completion in organization theory, management, and/or relevant related disciplines (e.g. applied linguistics, etc.)<u1:p></u1:p>

           Expertise in computational linguistics, NLP, LLM, text analysis<u1:p></u1:p>

           Good command of Italian (several archival sources are in Italian) <u1:p></u1:p>

           Passion for Rock Music<u1:p></u1:p>

           Solid research potential<u1:p></u1:p>

           Ability to work independently while participating collaboratively in multidisciplinary research team.<u1:p></u1:p>
