Hi everyone
Instats is pleased to announce the launch of a new qualitative research and mixed-methods initiative. To complement our many livestreaming and on-demand
quantitative methods seminars, we are now diversifying our offerings to include training in qualitative methods from some of the world's leading academics.
The first qualitative methods seminar is by professor Carol Grbich on
Qualitative Research: From Study Design to Publication (June 7 - 9), which will introduce participants to fundamental topics in qualitative research, including how to understand about and conduct mixed methods studies. The second is by the esteemed professor David Silverman on conducting
Credible Qualitative Research (October 11 - 13), which will cover the nature and sources of credibility when conducting and publishing qualitative research. These are just the first of a new initiative at Instats to better represent the many fields and types of inquiry that define scholarly research, so stay tuned for more!
Our first Instats blog post about qualitative methods is also now live:
What Is This Qualitative Research Methods Stuff? by professor Carol Grbich. Carol is a leading voice in qualitative research, and as someone initially trained in quantitative methods for her PhD she has a unique understanding of the benefits of qualitative methods -- and how to most effectively use them.
Our new upcoming qualitative methods seminars are just some of the ways that Instats is making leading research methods training more accessible. With our very affordable pricing, especially for PhD students, Instats offers substantial value for our users through the Instats platform -- the world's leading research methods training platform.
