Job Responsibilities
The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia seeks applications to fill an Open Rank position in Strategy & Innovation (S&I).
Job responsibilities include demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, outstanding research, and excellent recommendations. For those applying at the associate level and above, we also require an exemplary record of scholarly research, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank. A competitive salary will be offered, with an expected teaching load of six credit hours in the first year (AY26-27) and nine credit hours per year thereafter.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Excellence in classroom instruction in subjects related to strategy and innovation management at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Active commitment to producing world-class scholarship and publishing in top-tier academic journals on an ongoing basis.
- Dedication to participation and leadership in professional activities, such as presenting work-in-progress at important professional conferences, peer-review, and editorial positions in relevant journals.
- Commitment to service and student-engagement at the Institute level and beyond.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
The minimum requirements are a Ph.D. in Strategic Management or related areas such as Economics or Entrepreneurship (candidates must have their Ph.D. completed no later than June 1, 2026).
