POSITION: The Department of Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University invites applications for the Richard A. Forsythe Chair in Entrepreneurship (Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor or Assistant/Associate/Senior Lecturer). The Richard A. Forsythe Chair in Entrepreneurship will have a range of teaching, service, and advising responsibilities in the Department of Entrepreneurship. Successful candidates will possess demonstrated skills in engaging with the business community to promote innovation and entrepreneurship practice, excellent leadership ability demonstrated through a distinguished career of progressively increasing responsibilities and experiences, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence.The Richard A. Forsythe Chair in Entrepreneurship will have primary teaching responsibilities in the areas of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation. The primary responsibility is to teach undergraduates in areas including corporate innovation and strategy, entrepreneurial leadership and developing high performing innovation teams, entrepreneurial finance, and enterprise consulting. Position is required to recruit and select clients for the Entrepreneurship program's Corporate Innovation (ESP 341) and Enterprise Consulting (ESP 461) courses and to oversee and support student teams on engagements with each company. Position is also expected to provide support for co-curricular events sponsored by the Department of Entrepreneurship, advise and mentor students and student teams, and assist with student recruiting/retention.
