***Apologies for Cross-Posting***
IN-person registration for the IVEY/AMP Symposium at Western University, London, Ontario closes on March 24th. The Symposium is on March 31st from 9am-4pm (just a 2-hour drive from Toronto, Buffalo and Detroit). The Symposium is hosted by AMP co-managing editor Geoff Wood and associate editor Siri Terjesen.
The Academy of Management Perspectives (https://aom.org/research/journals/perspectives Impact factor – 8.069, 5-Year Impact Factor – 10.161, ABS – 4 , ABDC – A) is the leading outlet for Management Scholars looking to advance policy, practice, and theory simultaneously. However, this is a unique writing style, and not something we as management scholars are typically trained for, and yet highly necessary to ensure the broadest reach for our work, and is particularly demanded by grant proposals (e.g., SSHRC, NSERC, NSF etc.). Further, AMP has six forthcoming special issues with topics ranging across disciplines and welcoming submissions from scholars of all stripes. To support these needs and opportunities, Ivey Business School is hosting a symposium on publishing in AMP, featuring "how-to" sessions, networking events with journal editors, and brainstorming on paper ideas for a forthcoming special issue.
Scholars of all levels-from Professor to PhD student-and all disciplines are welcome and encouraged to attend. Registration for the event is only $75, $15 for doctoral students (limited space), and includes breakfast and lunch. There is also a virtual option for those that cannot come to London.
