Call for Applications: Entrepreneurship PhD
The College of Business at the University of Louisville (UofL) invites applications for its Ph.D. Program in Entrepreneurship, distinguished as the nation's longest-running entrepreneurship doctoral program and consistently ranked among the top graduate entrepreneurship programs by the Princeton Review.
The Entrepreneurship PhD is a full-time residential program that aims to train the next generation of entrepreneurship scholars. The program's exclusive focus on entrepreneurship provides students an in-depth exploration of the numerous facets of entrepreneurship, taking them on a deep intellectual journey into the world of entrepreneurship theory. Students are also trained to conduct cutting edge entrepreneurship research using advanced quantitative research designs and methods.
In recent years, the Department has strategically hired several new entrepreneurship scholars, positioning UofL to be a hotbed for entrepreneurship research and education. The Department consists of six tenure-track entrepreneurship faculty: Sergey Anokhin, Daniel L. Bennett, Isabel C. Botero, Fabian Diaz, James Fiet, and Vitaliy Skorodziyevskiy. Their research appears in top journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Research Policy, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. Several also serve as Associate Editors at leading journals.
