The Dillard College of Business Administration (AACSB accredited) at Midwestern State University (MSU Texas) invites applications for the position of Chair, Management and Marketing Department beginning Fall 2024. The department's 10 full-time faculty members teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Duties of the chair include overseeing and developing faculty, curriculum development and scheduling, and resolving student issues. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position normally filled by an associate or "full" professor. The successful candidate will teach a standard load of 2-2 with possible summer teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Face-to-face and online teaching are both expected. In addition to the administrative and teaching duties, the successful candidate will engage in scholarly activities leading to the maintenance of faculty qualifications in accordance with the Dillard College of Business Administration's faculty qualifications policy. Salary is competitive.
