    Apply now to be considered for this workshop! We are inviting applications for the Consortium for Educator Faculty: Building Careers and Connections Professional Development Workshop (PDW) at the upcoming annual conference of the Academy of Management (AOM) in Copenhagen, Denmark.
    This 90-minute workshop, facilitated by a group of experts in academia and industry, will include a round-table discussion and a moderated panel session, followed by Q&A. Topics for discussion include: Adapting Professional Skills to Academia, Navigating Institutional Expectations, Building and Maintaining Industry Connections, and Building Interdisciplinary Partnerships.
    We are excited to announce our updated list of facilitators, bringing a wide range of expertise and fresh perspectives to the teaching faculty community:

    Relevant to whom?
    Relevant to faculty teaching across all management domains, including but not limited to: CAR, DEI, HCM, HR, IM, MED, OB, ODC, ONE, SIM, and STR divisions. Focused specifically on the teaching, clinical, non-tenure track (NTT), and lecturer faculty. Tenure-track faculty seeking to switch over to the NTT track will also benefit from this workshop. Practitioners interested in transitioning to academia may also find this workshop useful.
    How to apply?
    To reserve your spot, please submit an up to one-page response outlining:
    (1) A brief description of yourself, including title, institution, area of expertise, and any industry experience.
    (2) What do you hope to gain from this workshop?
    (3) Which of the following themes are of most interest to you:
    • Career Transitions into Academia
    • Sustaining Industry Relevance
    • Collaboration Across Academic Ranks
    • Others (please specify).

    We will accept submissions until June 15, 2025, or until workshop capacity is reached, whichever comes first.  Early submissions are strongly encouraged as space is limited. Participants will be notified of acceptance on a rolling basis, no later than July 1, 2025.
