    Colleagues,

    Isabel Botero, Hooman Abootorabi and I are leading the 2023 US data collection effort for the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Student Survey. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in recruiting additional students to complete the survey. If appropriate, would you please share the below recruitment message with your student networks and colleagues?

    Dear students,

    You are invited to participate in a survey that explores the career intentions of students. This project (
    GUESSS) investigates students' career choice intentions and related activities in more than 60 countries and more than 3,000 Universities.


    Your participation in our online survey is extremely valuable. All completed questionnaires will be considered for our raffle, where you can win one of eight $50 Amazon gift cards, offered by our sponsor The Center for Free Enterprise at the University of Louisville.

    Filling out the online survey will take between 10 and 15 minutes.

    The GUESSS project's aim is to investigate students' career choice intentions and professional activities. The data collected will only be used within the GUESSS project for academic purposes only and will not be transferred to third parties.

    Student's Entrepreneurship Spirit Survey

    Dear Participant: You are being invited to participate in a research study by answering questions in the attached survey about the factors that influence student's entrepreneurial spirit. This study is conducted by Dr. Isabel C. Botero of the University of Louisville in collaboration with researchers from around the world (see GUESSS Project). There are no known risks for your participation in this research study. The information collected may not benefit you directly. The information learned in this study may be helpful to others. The information you provide will be used to understand what are the different factors that influence whether students become entrepreneurs. Your completed survey will be stored at Qualtrics. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes time to complete. Individuals from the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Human Subjects Protection Program Office (HSPPO), and other regulatory agencies may inspect these records. In all other respects, however, the data will be held in confidence to the extent permitted by law. Should the data be published, your identity will not be disclosed. Taking part in this study is voluntary. By answering survey questions, you agree to take part in this research study. You do not have to answer any questions that make you uncomfortable. You may choose not to take part at all. If you decide to be in this study, you may stop taking part at any time. If you decide not to be in this study or if you stop taking part at any time, you will not lose any benefits for which you may qualify.
