Dear colleagues,
To start 2023 in full swing, Industry and Innovation has just published a Special Issue on Firms and Innovation in the New Industrial Paradigm of the Digital Transformation. This Special issue includes a collection of six original papers on how firms face digital transformation from three different angles: the antecedents of firms' digital transformation, the implementation of digital transformation within firms and the patterns of its unfolding, and some of the techno-economic effects of digital transformation.
The Guest Editors (Elena Cefis, Riccardo Leoncini, Luigi Marengo, and Sandro Montresor) have also prepared an open-access Editorial providing a very unique perspective on the topic. You will find a variety of theoretical backgrounds, data sources, and empirical methodologies, along with several original results with managerial and policy relevance.
What a great way to kick-off the new year at Industry and Innovation! We hope you will enjoy the reading:
