We are excited to announce the upcoming Legitimacy Workshop at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in The Netherlands, scheduled for May 23-24, 2024. The call for appplications is now open and there is time until February 15th, 2024 to submit your work!

This workshop is specifically designed for early-career researchers (though senior researchers are also welcome to apply) with an interest in legitimacy across organization and management theory, strategy, and entrepreneurship. The workshop agenda includes roundtable discussions on submitted ideas or full papers, keynote and panel presentations, and valuable networking opportunities.

This marks the 2nd edition of the Legitimacy Workshop, building on the success of the initiative "The Next Decade of Legitimacy Research: Advancing the Multilevel Theory of Legitimacy," launched by Anna Jasinenko (University of St Gallen) and Patrick Haack (University of Lausanne) in 2023. For additional information, please visit: https://legitimacy-research.org/

Financial support for the 2nd Legitimacy Workshop is generously provided by the Department of Organization Sciences and Management & Organisation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as the Society for the Advancement of Management Studies (SAMS).

    2. Log in to your account, then find the webpage of the workshop and read the full call for applications by clicking on this link: https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=olw2024
    3. Submit an extended abstract of about 1,000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures) by February 15th, 2024. We welcome submissions of both empirical and theoretical papers, as well as study designs.
