We invite you to participate in "How Theories and Measurement of Social Impact Matter in Research-Year 2" PDW. The PDW is designed to inform, but also to help build connections between researchers that in some way are dealing with social impact in their research. In addition to viewing pre-recorded videos by PDW participants about how social impact measurement relates to one of their current research projects, you are invited to do the same. To do this:

    • Complete the following google form: https://forms.gle/7wKgexYKpefQApcGA
    • Create and post a link (either to Youtube, Facebook, or publicly available online storage platform like Dropbox or Google drive) a 3-5 video discussing the following details of the project. These links need to be posted on the PDW chat board by August 8 at 5pm EASTERN :
      1.  Research question
      2. Definition of social impact used
      3. Paper type (qualitative, quantitative, theory, simulation, etc)
      4. Context (location, if applicable)
      5. Theoretical underpinnings
      6. Type of SI measurement  (single measure, multiple measures, implied by the context, etc)

Although the PDW session is officially asynchronous, I will also post on the PDW chat board a link to 45-minute Zoom call in which those interested can have an informal discussion about social impact August 8 at 5pm EASTERN
