Are you interested in a formal mentoring program to assist you in preparing for your dissertation proposal and defense, publication trajectory and/or the academic job market? For the past 5 years, I have been a formal mentor with the Institute for Humane Studies to doctoral and early stage aspiring academics, such as post-docs and those going on the academic job market for the first time in the near future. Typically we arrange virtual meetings via Zoom or Skype for one-on-one coaching, and you can be located anywhere in the world. In addition, I can review your job market materials, conduct mock interviews, and review your academic work. Typically I have up to 10 mentees per year. At this point, I have three, with room for seven more. This mentorship program is supported by the IHS and is of no cost to you. Those interested can contact me directly via email at smuntean@unca.edu or direct inquiries to Dr. Bill Glod, Senior Program Officer at bglod@ihs.gmu.edu. My vita and website are accessible at https://smuntean.wp.unca.edu/vitae/

    Best regards,
