As we know, experiential learning is a pillar of entrepreneurship pedagogy. To that end, we are hoping that you can help. We are looking for 4-5 Entrepreneurship Professors to pilot our experiential entrepreneurship course dubbed www.100steps2startup.com on campus come Fall 2019.

This program takes students through the first stages of starting a startup. ideation, opportunity evaluation, market assessment,  customer discovery, etc. by having students execute a series of lean startup experiments in the real world. Videos are watched and exercise are done outside of class time, then during class, student discuss their findings and receive mentoring.  This is entrepreneurship learning by doing.

At Ryerson University we use 100Steps in both our "new venture creation" course and our "business plan" course. Both courses leverage experiential learning and the flipped classroom pedagogy to engage students in the entrepreneurial process. The results are remarkable as more than 94% of students reporting an increase in entrepreneurial capacity. See the impact in one student's own words:  https://youtu.be/fUwFKOPfvJM" href="https://youtu.be/fUwFKOPfvJM" rel="noopener">https://youtu.be/fUwFKOPfvJM

FYI, there is no cost to you, in fact we offer $500 to each pilot professor to offset any possible inconvenience. If this sounds intriguing please reach out to me directly to learn more:  sean.wise@ryerson.ca

    Onwards and Upwards,

    Sean
