Management Position--Assistant/Associate/Full Professor-Tenure Track
The Department of Management and Information Systems in the College of Business at Mississippi State University invites applications for an assistant/associate/full tenure-track position in Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Strategy to start August 2022. Responsibilities include scholarly research, teaching, and service. Research expectations are consistent with those of an AACSB-accredited, doctoral-degree granting College of Business. A typical teaching load is two courses per semester. Candidates will be expected to teach courses such as Entrepreneurship and/or Strategic Management/Business Policy at the graduate and undergraduate levels and/or Principles of Management at the undergraduate level. Finally, candidates should have a commitment to appropriate levels of service within the department, college, and university.

Minimum Requirements
- Candidates must have a PhD in Management, a closely related field, or be ABD with convincing evidence they will complete their program before the August 2022 start date.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to do quality research leading to publications in top management journals.
- Candidates must demonstrate an ability and commitment to quality teaching.
- Candidates should have the ability to teach Entrepreneurship, followed by Strategic Management, and/or Principles of Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Given that the Center of Family Enterprise Research is housed within the department, existing publications and/or an interest in family business research will be considered favorably.
- Previous experience in a tenure-track position will be considered favorably but is not a requirement.
