    Applications are invited for the Fall 2021 cohort of the Strategy and Entrepreneurship track within the PhD in Business Administration Program at Strome College of Business, Old Dominion University, in Virginia USA.

    For students in good standing and maintaining GPA requirements, the program offers  research assistantship of $20,000 and 100% tuition waivers per year for up to four years. Travel stipends to academic conferences are also available. The PhD program at Strome has an international business focus.

    Requirements:

     A Master's degree or equivalent academic background recognized by Old Dominion University, with minimum GPA score of 3.5 out of 4.

    • Minimum GMAT score of 600 or equivalent GRE score.
    • Non-native English speaking applicants must provide a TOEFL score unless they possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree equivalent from an accredited institution located in a country where English is the native language.

    The Department of Management has 16 tenure-track faculty, many of whom have leadership positions within the university, scholarly journals, and the Academy. They currently include: William Q. Judge, Shaomin Li, Anil Nair (Chair), Soo-Hoon Lee, Ryan Klinger, Jing Zhang, Elko Klijn, Li-Wei Chen, Marin Goossen, Jay O'Toole, Robert Pidduck, Kris Irwin, Andrew Bennett, Emily Campion, and Sheila Keener. The faculty has published broadly in top tier journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Applied Phycology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, and Strategic Management Journal, to name a few.

    The department has a collegial and supportive culture that offers PhD students opportunities to collaborate with faculty on research projects that lead to publications.
