    Are you interested in pursuing a PhD in Entrepreneurship?  Do you have strong intentions of pursuing an academic career studying entrepreneurship? If so, you should consider applying to the PhD Program in Entrepreneurship at The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

    Kelley School of Business is a highly desirable place to do a PhD in Entrepreneurship because we have the strongest group of research-active entrepreneurship faculty in the world. The research-active faculty members in our entrepreneurship group (and their broad research interests) include:

     

    Sophie Bacq (Social entrepreneurship, necessity entrepreneurship, social impact)

    Greg Fisher (Entrepreneurial action, venture legitimacy, entrepreneurial strategy)  

    Don Kuratko (Corporate entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, entrepreneurial leadership)

    Blake Mathias (Identity in entrepreneurship, oppositional categories, qualitative research)

    Aaron McKenny (Entrepreneurial language, hybrid organizing, content analysis)

    Jeff McMullen (Opportunities, entrepreneurial action, social entrepreneurship)  

    Regan Stevenson (Entrepreneur decision-making, entrepreneur psychology, entrepreneurial experimentation)

    Trent Williams (Resourcefulness and resilience, identity, hybrid and community organizing)

     

    Other research-active faculty in the Kelley Management and Entrepreneurship department that may work with doctoral students include Tim Baldwin, Chris Berry, Juan Bu, Christina Carnes, MK Chin, Erik Gonzalez-Mule, Cristiano Guarana, Matt Josefy, Catherine Kleshinski, Brittany Lambert, Dan Li, Ernest O'Boyle, Stephanie Wang, and Eric Zhao.

     

    In addition to the very strong faculty roster, Indiana University is located in Bloomington, Indiana which is a vibrant, beautiful, and very affordable college town. It is an extremely easy and intellectually exciting place to live while you pursue a PhD.
