What are research questions that matter to entrepreneurship practitioners?

Program Session: 105. Practice Themed Workshop: Pathways to Connect Research and Practice J. Combs, J. Kickul & J. Mueller.

Join us Friday August 9th from 10:15am to 12:15pm at the Boston Marriot Copley Place hotel in the Boylston room (Session 105) for an interactive workshop featuring a panel of practicing entrepreneurs, investors, and incubator managers from the Boston area. The practitioners will raise a set of questions that are important to them and for which they would like answers. Academic moderators will ask questions based on what is known from research to further refine the research questions. Panelists and moderators will work with workshop participants in small groups to develop relevant research projects. Groups will share their research designs and refine them through audience discussion. The goal is to identify timely research questions and develop research initiatives that will solve practical questions facing entrepreneurs and result in theory-driven empirical advances that can be published in top entrepreneurship outlets.
