    The Robert G. Merrick School of Business of the University of Baltimore invites applications for a one-year visiting professor to teach entrepreneurship and related courses beginning Fall 2018. Candidates with background and experience in entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply. This appointment is subject to final budget approval by the President of the university.

    The Merrick School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, enrolls approximately 1,800 students, and has programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The University of Baltimore is part of the University System of Maryland and has four academic units: the Law School, the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs, and the Merrick School of Business. The University is located in the cultural center of Baltimore within walking distance of the harbor, restaurants, theaters, symphony hall, and train station.


    Qualifications:

     

    A Visiting Professor should normally have a doctoral degree from a university accredited by AACSB. ABDs will be considered. Applicants should have excellent communication skills and demonstrated, relevant teaching ability. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of teaching undergraduate and/or graduate business students. Online teaching experience is desirable.


    Salary:

     

    Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
