Business School invites qualified candidates in the area of Entrepreneurship
to apply for tenure track positions for our graduate and undergraduate programs in the Entrepreneurship department, beginning September 2027. The position is open to candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
We are seeking candidates who can complement and enhance our existing research and teaching capabilities in areas such as social entrepreneurship and impact investing, family business and intergenerational entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance and governance, technology-driven entrepreneurship and digital platforms, entrepreneurial cognition and behavioral processes, and entrepreneurship in cross-cultural, emerging-economy, and institutional contexts.
The Entrepreneurship Department´s faculty publishes in leading journals including ETP, JBV, SEJ, AMJ, AMR, Org Sci., JOM, OBHDP, among others. Interested candidates are expected to target similar outlets.
Research in our department focuses on how entrepreneurial activity can catalyse inclusive innovation, renew industries, and empower individuals and communities to co-create better futures. In particular, we are interested in scholars who examine:
· Startup creation, acceleration, and internationalization.
· Entrepreneurial finance and venture capital ecosystems.
· Innovation policy, clusters, and regional development.
· Social entrepreneurship and inclusive business models.
· Family venturing
· Entrepreneurial education and mindset transformation.
We are looking for scholars who want to shape a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders - not only capable of building profitable ventures, but also of addressing pressing global problems with creativity, courage, and accountability.
English is the main language of instruction and institutional communication. Spanish is neither required nor expected.
Salary for these positions will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

IE Business School Qualifications
All applicants should have earned a PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized school by the date of the appointment.

Applications should include a cover letter and vitae, a one-page research statement, a one-page teaching philosophy, three confidential recommendation letters, one sample research paper, and teaching evaluations (if available).
We may schedule informal interviews with select candidates at the AOM conference in Philadelphia. If you will attend, please indicate it in your cover letter.
