We are excited to invite you to attend the Health & Well-Being in Entrepreneurship PDW at the 2026 Academy of Management Annual Meeting.

No pre-registration is required. We welcome scholars at all career stages who are interested in entrepreneurship and health-related research.
This year's PDW has been redesigned around an entirely interactive roundtable format. Rather than paper or poster presentations, participants will engage in facilitated discussions focused on emerging questions, methodological challenges, and future directions in health and entrepreneurship research. We hope these conversations will foster new collaborations and connect scholars with shared interests across disciplines and career stages.
The session will begin with two brief spotlight conversations to frame the afternoon's discussions. Melissa Cardon will offer reflections on the current state of entrepreneurship theory and well-being, while Johan Wiklund will provide an overview of the Journal of Business Venturing Insights special issue on intervention-oriented entrepreneurship research.
Participants will then have the opportunity to engage in two facilitated roundtable discussions. Topic areas include:

- Large Health Datasets and Data Collections
- Visible and Invisible Disability in Entrepreneurial Contexts
- Women's Entrepreneurial Health and Well-Being
- Institutions, Structures, and Ecosystems
- Digital Tools, AI, and the Future
- Intervention Approaches for Entrepreneurial Well-Being
- Marginalization, Immigration, and Minority Entrepreneurs
- Integrating Organizational Behavior into Health and Entrepreneurship
- Mental Health Challenges and Opportunities
