As our knowledge base in entrepreneurship continues to rapidly expand, and entrepreneurship education becomes more multifaceted, comprehensive and experiential, the demand for high quality educators continues to grow. The challenge comes in preparing these individuals --- how to get them familiar with methods and practices of entrepreneurship teaching, curriculum design, core content of courses, and key principles, tools and frameworks. Many could also use more exposure to the use of cases, videos, business models, simulations, class exercises, applied field projects and related experiential teaching tools.
The Experiential Classroom is the world's leading clinic serving faculty new to entrepreneurship and those attempting to re-tool or introduce new approaches. Over 1600 educators have attended over the years, and it has changed how they approach the classroom when it comes to entrepreneurship. The rigorous clinic lasts three days, and is delivered by twenty-three of the top entrepreneurship educators. It is a content-rich program, and introduces a number of highly effective, state-of-the-art approaches.
Co-hosted by Notre Dame and Florida State University, the Experiential Classroom XXVI will be held in Tallahassee from September 17-20, 2026. Enrollment is limited to 75 delegates. The tuition has been held constant at $1800 for many years, and we have a limited number of partial, need-based scholarships provided by the U.S. Association for Small Business & Entrepreneurship (USASBE).
