  • 1.  Virtual Summer Seminar Entrepreneurship Research

    Virtual Summer Seminar in Entrepreneurship Research 2022 (VSSER-22) is pleased to recognize Ms. Audra Quinn of Ivey Business School (Canada) as the 'Most Promising Junior Scholar in Entrepreneurship' for 2022. About 200 participants from 19 countries registered for VSSER-22. Guest Speakers included Drs. Peter Klein, Jeff Covin, Erik Stam, Matt Rutherford, and Doug Cumming (their talks are available free for folks to watch). Audra was favorably supported by her peers in VSSER-22 (collegiality is very important to us) and then selected by a panel of two professors (Drs. Jeff Martin and Dr. Banu Goktan) for demonstrated interest and passion for entrepreneurship research. Our sincere thanks to students and professors for participation in VSSER. Congratulations to Audra for her wonderful achievement!

    Congratulations, Audra!

     

    Also, a big thank you should go to Dr. Gupta and Swati Oberoi for their work organizing and facilitating this excellent program. As an attendee, I can say it was a transformative experience to be exposed to so many accomplished researchers and current ideas in our field, while meeting many new friends and future collaborators among the ECR attendees. Highly recommended.

    Wow, I'm awed by this honor, and I couldn't agree more with Kevin's comments below! Thank you to Dr. Gupta and Swati Oberoi - you are doing a tremendous service to emerging and established scholars with this program, creating an inclusive, global community of people who care about entrepreneurship research. I enjoyed it so much - I think the kudos should go to you both!
