The Department of Management in the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University invites applications for a recently approved, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2024. The successful candidate for this position will regularly publish high-quality research related to strategic management. The successful candidate will also teach undergraduate and/or graduate management courses in the areas of strategic management while engaging in service at various levels appropriate for this rank. Additionally, this applicant will have an interest in supporting initiatives of the university, college, and department related to various areas of management.
About the Department of ManagementThe Department of Management is a highly collegial and intellectually vibrant group of approximately 30 full-time faculty. The department offers a B.B.A. in Management (with concentrations in Entrepreneurial Studies and Human Resources); provides substantial support to the college's M.B.A. program; and serves as the home of the new, university-wide minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
