    Dear Colleagues,

    The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) at Georgia State University (GSU) invites applicants for one or more tenure track faculty positions in entrepreneurship and/or innovation. We expect to hire at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, to begin Fall 2023. We seek applicants with a proven track record of research in leading academic outlets and research interests related to the potential of entrepreneurship to affect social change, inclusive innovation and entrepreneurship, and/or related fields, and a keen interest in creating equal opportunities for entrepreneurs and innovators from all backgrounds to contribute to and benefit from the innovation economy. 

    APPLICATION PROCEDURE 

    Applicants wishing to apply should register with http://academicjobsonline.org/ (registration is free) and upload their curriculum vita, statements of research and teaching interests, recent publications or working papers, evidence of teaching performance, and three letters of recommendation. Applicants are required to submit their materials via the online system. Positions are contingent on University budget approval.

    Applicants should have expertise in supporting the University's strategic goal of becoming a national model demonstrating that students from all backgrounds can imagine and develop solutions to problems and innovative new products and services that create value for themselves, their communities and society. Successful candidates will help shape and contribute towards a multi-year and multi-disciplinary strategy for developing a significant entrepreneurship and innovation research program at Georgia State University with strong industry and community links.

    The successful candidate will have earned a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Management, Economics, Sociology, or a related field from an accredited university or international equivalent. Successful candidates will have a strong record of research related to entrepreneurship and innovation in top tier journals in business and related disciplines as well as an active research pipeline developing future work. Service on editorial boards of top entrepreneurship and strategic management journals is preferred. Ideal candidates will also have capabilities to teach courses in the Institute's interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate offerings, and in other related programs. As a campus with a diverse student body, we encourage applications from women, minorities, and individuals with a history of mentoring underrepresented minorities in entrepreneurship and/or innovation. Candidates will have numerous opportunities to interact with leading companies, entrepreneurial organizations, and collaborate with scholars at universities in the metro Atlanta area.
