    The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business invites applications for a full-time assistant professor tenure-track position in entrepreneurship beginning academic year 2023-2024.  Applicants must have a doctorate in entrepreneurship or a related field (ABD considered).  Prior university teaching experience is preferred and candidates with industry and entrepreneurship experience are welcome.  We also invite applications from candidates with experience and a track record of publication in top journals seeking credit toward tenure. Responsibilities of the position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship, including entrepreneurship strategy, innovation, and other related courses, maintaining a program of active scholarship and university service.

    The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship houses a diverse, multi-disciplinary and research-active faculty who support undergraduate and graduate programs in entrepreneurship, business analytics, human resource management, general management, supply chain management, and sustainability management.  Both the graduate and undergraduate entrepreneurship programs are routinely featured in the national rankings by The Princeton Review.  Many of the department's faculty also support the college's rigorous Doctorate in Business Administration program.  The department is home to the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center.  A number of active student groups, including a chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization, are affiliated with the department.

    DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business is located in the heart of downtown Chicago's vibrant urban business district.  The college has built a strong relationship with the local business community, including corporate partnerships with many of the city's leading organizations.  The college also maintains strong affiliations with the Chicago start-up community, including membership in a technology incubator (1871) and an incubator for music and entertainment-related ventures (2112).

    Applicants will be asked to submit a CV, cover letter, teaching statement, research statement, sample publications, teaching evaluations, and contact information for references. The position will remain open until filled and review of applications will begin immediately. Select candidates will be interviewed at the Academy of Management meeting in Seattle or via Zoom. To be considered for an AOM interview, please submit all materials by July 30, 2022.
