    The Department of Management in the College of Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-earning assistant professor position specializing in entrepreneurship. Expected start date is Fall 2024. The successful candidate will conduct and publish research related to entrepreneurship and teach courses in entrepreneurship and/or strategic management. Teaching load is commensurate with expectations at an R1 urban research university.  

     

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    Candidates must possess a portfolio of research in entrepreneurship, targeted to top journals in the field, e.g., AMJ, AMR, SMJ, JOM, JBV, etc., and currently be engaged in an active research program in the field. Candidates must complete a doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution, either in Management or a closely related field, prior to beginning the appointment.  

     

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    Success publishing in top journals in the field, e.g., AMJ, AMR, SMJ, JOM, JBV, etc., experience teaching entrepreneurship-related courses, an ability and desire to mentor Ph.D. students, and practical experience as an entrepreneur.
