    Purpose:

    Overview:

    The Management and Entrepreneurship Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Entrepreneurship beginning September 2024. We are particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to our portfolio of entrepreneurship research and teach and design entrepreneurship courses for both undergraduate and graduate students. Preference will be given to candidates with experience as an entrepreneur and/or related work experience. We invite applications from diverse groups including people of different genders, races, ethnicities, religions, cultures, etc.

    Responsibilities include:

    (A) maintaining a program of research leading to publications in high-quality journals;

    (B) teaching undergraduate and undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship;

    (C) designing new elective courses in entrepreneurship; and,

    (d) providing suitable service to the Department, Leavey School of Business, University, profession, and/or community.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an AACSB-International accredited university in management or a closely related field. The Ph.D. must be completed, or near completion, by the start date. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to publish their research in high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly journals and also have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
