ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION (TENURE TRACK) IN MANAGEMENT AT ESADE BUSINESS SCHOOL
The Strategy and General Management Department at ESADE Business School (Barcelona, Spain) is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants within the fields of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Organization and Management Theory are invited to apply.
Starting date: Fall, 2024

It is a community of scholars with diverse research interests, passionate about their work and dedicated to making impactful contributions to the field of management with publications in top journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, among others.
As part of our faculty, you will be expected to:
- Conduct high-quality research in the field of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, or Organization and Management Theory, leading to publication in top-tier academic journals.
- Teach mainstream courses in Strategy at various levels, including Bachelor, Master of Science, MBA, Executive Education, and Ph.D.
- Actively participate in departmental and university activities.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
- Apply for external research funding.
The successful applicant will possess:
- A completed Ph.D. in Management or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
- A proven record of, or potential for, rigorous and impactful research.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.
