    NTU Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) invites applications for one (1) faculty position at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level (Practice-track) in Entrepreneurship at the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur). The candidate will also hold a minor appointment at the Nanyang Business School (NBS).

    Role Overview:

    Reporting to the Vice President (Innovation and Entrepreneurship), the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the full spectrum of NTUpreneur's academic and executive education programmes. The role involves shaping, developing, and scaling entrepreneurship education, strengthening NTU's I&E ecosystem, and driving venture creation through high-quality, industry-relevant education. The candidate will combine academic excellence with strong industry and commercial acumen to ensure financial sustainability and forge strategic partnerships locally and globally.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Academic Programme Leadership and Development: Lead the design, development, and continuous enhancement of academic and executive education programmes in entrepreneurship. Drive innovation in pedagogy, including experiential learning, venture-building, and deep-tech commercialisation. Oversee programme quality assurance, curriculum reviews, and accreditation requirements. Develop and execute a robust faculty strategy, including sourcing, appointing, and managing high-quality instructors across NTU faculty, industry practitioners, entrepreneurs, and investors.

    • Programme Growth, Marketing and Admissions: Lead programme go-to-market strategies, including branding, positioning, marketing, and outreach for postgraduate and executive programmes. Drive student recruitment and admissions strategy, ensuring high-quality, diverse, and commercially relevant cohorts. Develop strategic pipelines for candidate sourcing, including partnerships with corporations, entrepreneurs, family businesses, and international markets.

    • Revenue Growth and Financial Sustainability: Drive revenue growth and financial performance of entrepreneurship programmes, particularly postgraduate and executive education offerings. Develop new programme offerings, stackable credentials, and international delivery models to expand revenue streams and market reach. Establish and monitor financial KPIs, ensuring sustainable growth and scalability.

    • Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystem Development: Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships with industry leaders, venture capital firms, family offices, government agencies, and leading global institutions. Strengthen and integrate NTU's I&E ecosystem by connecting academic programmes with venture-building platforms. Facilitate collaborations that provide participants with access to mentors, investors, technologies, funding opportunities, and venture creation pathways.

    • Strategic Planning and Institutional Alignment: Develop and execute strategic plans for entrepreneurship education, ensuring alignment with NTU's long-term objectives, NTU 2030, and the university's I&E agenda. Collaborate with senior leadership, colleges, and schools to promote and integrate entrepreneurship across disciplines.

    • Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Engage and influence senior stakeholders across academia, industry, and government to support programme growth and strategic initiatives. Represent NTUpreneur and NTU at regional and global platforms, enhancing the university's reputation in entrepreneurship education.

    • Operational Excellence and Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the NTUpreneur teams to ensure effective programme delivery and operational excellence. Establish best-in-class operational processes, systems, and governance frameworks to support scalability and service excellence. Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and innovation-driven culture within the Academy.

    • Thought Leadership and Impact: Provide thought leadership in entrepreneurship and innovation, contributing to the advancement of the field through publications, speaking engagements, and advisory roles. Enhance NTU's brand as a leading institution in technology entrepreneurship and innovation education.

    Requirements:

    • A recognised PhD or MBA from a reputable institution.

    • A proven track record of excellence in academia, complemented by substantial industry or entrepreneurial experience.

    • Demonstrated track record in designing and delivering credit-bearing entrepreneurship programmes.

    • Proven experience in executive education programme development, marketing, recruitment, and management, with a focus on quality and profitability.

    • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution.

    • Commercial acumen with experience in revenue growth and financial management of education programmes.

    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and external partners.

    • Experience in building and managing strategic partnerships at local and international levels.

    • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire teams and drive organisational performance.

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clarity, focus, and prioritisation.
