What happens when impact ventures fail-and why does it matter?

This PDW explores failure in impact entrepreneurship (i.e., social, sustainable, and environmental entrepreneurship), an area where failure can affect not just founders, but also beneficiaries, funders, governments, and entire communities.

    We'll explore:

    • What is distinct about failure in impact entrepreneurship?

    • What are the triggers and consequences of failure?

    • How do entrepreneurs and stakeholders cope and recover?

    • What theoretical and practical insights are still missing?

The session opens with a panel discussion featuring leading scholars in the field:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Sophie Bacq, Anna Jenkins, Raja Singaram, Ute Stephan, and Deniz Ucbasaran

Followed by an interactive paper development session with short presentations, peer feedback, and commentary from senior scholars.

Organizers: Gabriella Cacciotti, Caroline Lindlar, Eva Alexandra Jakob, Raja Singaram, Yasmine Yahyaoui

Join us to help shape an emerging research agenda on one of the most critical blind spots in impact entrepreneurship.
