The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) invites applications for a Tier 2 Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Canada Research Chair in Entrepreneurship and SMEs in a Transforming World. This Chair is at the heart of the scientific programming of the Institut de recherche sur les PME (InRPME), recognized as one of the world's leading research groups on SMEs and entrepreneurship. Comprising some thirty multidisciplinary researchers and close to fifty graduate students, the Institut is a stimulating environment that operates in close collaboration with key players in the fields related to its research activities (public authorities, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and SME managers). The candidate will be expected to strengthen the Institute's team by providing substantial expertise in support of its core mission, which is to advance knowledge on SMEs and entrepreneurship in order to contribute to their development, as well as to train students and highly qualified personnel in its research fields. A tenure-track professorship at UQTR accompanies the Research Chair. In the face of significant upheavals (climate crisis, digital transformation, supply chain disruptions, etc.) impacting SMEs and entrepreneurship, the Chair's work is to focus on one of four priority themes:
- Sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship and SMEs ;
- Entrepreneurship, business start-ups, and SME transfer;
- Digital transformation, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence in SMEs;
- Entrepreneurial ecosystem, guidance, and support for SMEs.
As UQTR is a French-speaking university, the candidate must develop proficiency in this language within a year.
We invite you to read the details of the position in the following link and to circulate this opportunity to candidates matching the selection criteria:
