    Positions in the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Area at Nova School of Business and Economics

    Positions:

    1)     A research track position (Assistant or Associate Professor)

    2)     A teaching track position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor)

    Starting date: September 1st, 2026

    Institution: Nova School of Business and Economics (Universidade Nova de Lisboa)

    Location: Lisbon / Carcavelos, Portugal

    Position description: Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), a triple-accredited institution (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA), will be recruiting for one research track position and one teaching track position in the Strategy & Entrepreneurship Area, effective in September 2026. Applicants should have, or be about to complete, a Ph.D. degree in Management, Strategy, Entrepreneurship or another closely related field. Candidates need to demonstrate the capacity to contribute to the development of Nova SBE's research and teaching activities in the field of Strategy & Entrepreneurship. The chosen candidates will join the growing team of Strategy & Entrepreneurship faculty members at Nova SBE that currently includes Adam Tatarynowicz, Afonso Almeida Costa, Aman Asija, Alison Holm, António Nogueira Leite, Benoit Decreton, Debtanu Lahiri, Emanuel Gomes, Graham Miller, Ilya Okhmatovskiy, Luis Almeida Costa, Marco Galo, Roberto Ragozzino, Sai Kalvapalle, and Yannick Wiessner. Candidates for the teaching track position should have teaching experience in Bachelor and Master programs. Candidates for the research track position should provide evidence of their ability to publish in the leading international peer-reviewed journals.

    School description: Nova SBE offers programs in management, economics, and finance at the undergraduate, master, MBA, and doctorate levels. English is the working language of the school and knowledge of Portuguese is not a requirement.
