π¨ New Call for Papers! π¨
π£ We are excited to announce a new Special Issue titled: "From Shock to Strength: The Endogenous Foundations of Entrepreneurship under Adversity" at: Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal
Redefining Entrepreneurship in an Era of Permanent Adversity
The rules have changed. Today's entrepreneurs no longer face temporary crises followed by recovery periods; they navigate a landscape of permanent adversity. Economic marginalization, institutional voids, and cascading shocks have created a "polycrisis" reality that challenges traditional entrepreneurship frameworks.
This groundbreaking special issue seeks to revolutionize our understanding of how entrepreneurs survive and thrive when external support systems fail. We are looking for bold research that explores endogenous capabilities, e.g., internal resources, psychological strengths, and self-generated mechanisms, that enable entrepreneurial success amid continuous adversity. When ecosystem support becomes depleted or inaccessible, entrepreneurs must draw upon internal wellspring of innovation, adaptability, and resilience.
