Dear colleagues in the AOM ENT Division,

We would like to warmly invite you to submit to the 23rd Nordic Conference on Small Business Research (NCSB 2026) in Bodø, Norway (18–20 May 2026) and, in particular, to Track 2: " Entrepreneurial Decision Making in Uncertain Times." Abstracts are due 20 January 2026

The track focuses on entrepreneurial decision making in an era marked by persistent and overlapping crises. Today's entrepreneurs increasingly operate in a poly-crisis environment shaped by pandemics, geopolitical tensions, economic instability, and institutional disruption. These conditions fundamentally alter how strategic decisions are formed and enacted.

This track seeks contributions that advance our understanding of how entrepreneurs and small firms make sense of uncertainty, adapt their strategies, and, in some cases, turn disruption into opportunity.

Abstract guidelines: approximately 900 words, covering objectives, theoretical foundation, approach/methods, preliminary results/findings, and expected contributions. Please do not include names or affiliations in the abstract.

NCSB is widely known for its strong community spirit and constructive dialogue-particularly well-suited for early-stage ideas and process-oriented work. A Doctoral Consortium will take place on 18 May 2026

    📍 Conference: Bodø, Norway | May 18–20, 2026
