    Dear Colleagues,

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to extend an invitation to participate in the California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference (CEEC) at San Diego State University, April 17-20, 2024. The deadline for proposal submission is October 20th, 2023.

We are delighted to announce that our keynote speakers for CEEC 2024 will include:

    1. Dr. Shaker Zahra is the Robert E. Buuck Chair of Entrepreneurship and Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. A recent article in Journal of Management identified him as one of the most widely cited authors in management over a 25-year period. He has received several awards including Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research (2014), the Decade Award from Academy of Management Perspectives (2021), and Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher (a listing of the world's most influential researchers). He is a Fellow in the Academy of Management, a Research Fellow in the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers, a Fellow in the Academy of International Business, and several other organizations. In 2021, he received the Academy of Management Entrepreneurship Division's award in recognition of his "creative and impactful contributions to entrepreneurship research."

    2. Andy White: Early investor in AngelList, 500 Startups and Buffer. Previously, a founding partner in the VegasTechFund, part of the Downtown Project. Currently, Startup Operations at Keshif Ventures focused on data science centric companies.  As a Venture Capitalist and Angel Investor he has invested in over 250 early-stage companies.

In addition to our keynote sessions, we have planned two engaging preconference events. One will be a visit to the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem of Baja California, Mexico. This offers a unique opportunity to explore international perspectives and connect with entrepreneurs from across the border. The second preconference event involves an excursion to the dynamic San Diego entrepreneurial ecosystem. Both events are designed to provide participants with real-world entrepreneurship experiences.

Please let me know if you have any questions (mahsan@sdsu.edu).

    Best,
