This initiative was established in 2016 by the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) and Dr. Ayman ElTarabishy, to bridge various stakeholders, including academia, to assist the United Nations in supporting entrepreneurs and MSMEs.
The 6th Annual U.N. MSMEs Day holds great significance as it raises public awareness about the vital contribution of MSMEs to sustainable development and the global economy. By organizing events under the theme "Galvanizing MSMEs Worldwide by Supporting Women and Youth Entrepreneurship and Resilient Supply Chains," we highlight the crucial role that MSMEs play in driving economies, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainability.
