π« PDW overview
Although entrepreneurship has long been considered the armed wing for creating the future, there is less and less consensus on the future thus created, or how it was created. Climate change is no longer debated, income inequality is exploding, and social and political unrest are pervasive: to what extant could entrepreneurship research and practice be the problem, or the solution? This PDW sets the stage for a turning point.
We designed a thought and debate inducing session, around inspiring speakers.
Attendees will first participate in a Futures exercise - performing a projection to 2040: possible, probable, preferred futures. Then, we will do an activity of reverse causality, identifying how we can collectively move towards these preferred futures β and specifically how entrepreneurship could be re-imagined to support these desirable futures.
