Summary of Job Purpose and Principal Duties
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to enhance the excellence in teaching and research in Entrepreneurship and Innovation within the School of Business. The successful candidate would be expected to take an active role in the teaching of programmes such as our successful MSc Management, MSc International Marketing, MSc International Business, BSc Business Management and any new programmes we will develop in the field. In addition to teaching and administrative duties the successful candidate will undertake excellent research with demonstrable impact. Pursuit of external grant funding and regularly publishing research papers in top ranked journals are essential along with a strategy for knowledge exchange.
For appointment at Senior Lecturer you would be expected to play a leading role in the teaching, design and leadership of our TPG and UG programmes. In addition to teaching excellence, the successful candidate would be expected to carry out independent research at the highest level, publishing in high quality research journals and presenting work at major international conferences. The successful candidate should ideally have a track record in generating overhead bearing research income to help demonstrate the quality of their research and impact.
