Dear Colleagues in the Entrepreneurship Division,
I would like to warmly invite you to attend our upcoming Professional Development Workshop (PDW) at the 2025 AOM Annual Meeting in Copenhagen:
Understanding Vipassana Meditation for Leadership: Insights into Managing Biases and Emotions
     Saturday, July 26, 2025 | 15:30–17:00 CEST
     Bella Center, Room MR7
     Shareable Link
This workshop introduces participants to the core principles of Vipassana meditation-Sīla (ethical conduct), Samādhi (concentration), and Paññā (wisdom)-and explores how they can be applied to leadership development, emotional regulation, and cognitive bias management.
For entrepreneurship scholars and educators, understanding how to manage internal biases and emotions is crucial-especially in high-uncertainty environments where decisions shape ventures and influence others. This session provides tools and practices that can support more equanimous, insightful, and ethical entrepreneurial leadership-a valuable addition to both research and teaching portfolios.
I hope to see many of you there for this unique and reflective session.
    With warm regards,
    Nelson Pizarro
