Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) located in Bangalore, India is actively recruiting faculty in Entrepreneurship across seniority levels (Assistant/Associate/Full Professors) and engagement type (Full-time/Adjunct/Professor of Practice). RUAS is a premier multi-disciplinary university and is home to topmost colleges in engineering, technology, medicine, design, hospitality and humanities in India. We are building a world class Center for Entrepreneurship that seeks to foster entrepreneurial ethos across the multi-disciplinary RUAS community through an integrated approach towards entrepreneurial education, research and practice.
Applicants should hold, or be in the final stages of obtaining, a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from accredited, highly regarded institutions in disciplines such as Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, Economics, Sociology, Communication, or related fields.
For Professor of Practice position, a doctoral degree is desirable but not a must. A lack of PhD must be offset by rich industry experience of at least ten years, professional accomplishments and demonstrated domain knowledge in fields such as entrepreneurship, startups, business management, marketing, innovation and technology management.
The candidates must demonstrate potential for excellence through their academic work, writings, professional experience and personal goals. Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, case writing, conducting research and publishing in top-tier journals, and service to institutional activities.
